In 2007, Johnny, founder of Mini Tours, began by

establishing an events company in New Zealand.

Partnering with media outlets and TV stations worldwide,

he facilitated coverage and filming of travel programs across the country.

With the expertise of travel journalist Roxie,

the company evolved into a premier travel organization,

guiding global adventurers to explore New Zealand's stunning landscapes.

Mini Tours has long been a trusted partner of traditional mainstream media. Over the years, we have welcomed numerous travel journalists and filming crews, serving as local travel consultants and producers to uncover and report on the latest attractions and activities in New Zealand. Mini Tours has assisted in the filming of various travel programs, including TVB's "Discover New Zealand," "A Fresh Look at New Zealand," "Around New Zealand," and "3 Days 2 Nights," as well as Viu TV's "Out with the Piggy Troop," "The Continent of the Gods," and "Quintet of Marriage." Additionally, we've collaborated with Hong Kong Cable TV for "Angela Hui - The People of the World on the Horizon" and NowTV for "One Earth." We've also worked with internet celebrities, such as Mrs. Science on numerous occasions. In total, we've contributed to over 45 episodes and nearly a hundred hours of travel programs.

Co-founder of Mini Tours. Having moved to New Zealand with his family at a young age, Johnny has lived in New Zealand for over 25 years, gaining a deep understanding of the local life, culture, and environment. As the first Hong Kong winemaker in New Zealand, his wines have won numerous awards. He has also hosted travel programs for TVB introducing New Zealand and its wines. He has also been involved in local production, assisting Hong Kong television stations and media in filming travel programs and conducting interviews in New Zealand. In addition, he had operated and managed boutique hotels, organized various business events, and coordinated over a hundred weddings.

As the co-founder of Mini Tours, Roxie brings a wealth of experience to the team. Armed with a degree in Journalism and Communication, she spent eight years as a journalist before transitioning into her current roles. With her extensive travels to over 30 countries, she has honed her skills as a "travel journalist." In her current capacity as a local guide and travel consultant in New Zealand, she seamlessly blends her journalistic expertise with her passion for travel. She continues to contribute articles to magazines and newspapers while also serving as an editor for travel books and a producer for television programs.

From childhood, Nobita harboured a fervent desire to explore the world. Graduating from the Malaysian Aviation Academy, he embarked on a career in aviation to satisfy his wanderlust. After two years, seeking new challenges, he transitioned into political and criminal journalism, bidding farewell to the skies. During this period, his travel writing caught the attention of several magazines, leading to five years of contributing travel articles. Serendipitously, he stumbled upon New Zealand—a haven of adventure and excitement tucked away in a corner of the world. Entranced by its pristine beauty, he made it his home, dedicating himself to study and work in this paradise.

Steady and reliable, specializing in business client services, Joseph brings a wealth of experience to his role. Immigrating from Taiwan to New Zealand at the age of 17, he graduated from the University of Auckland. Known for his approachable personality and meticulous service, Joseph served at the Taiwan Tourism Bureau's office on Little Liuqiu, catering to government officials, directors, and journalists. Later, he worked at Sky City casino and hotel, chauffeuring VIP clients and serving as a tour guide. With a track record of excellence, Joseph has hosted various groups, including embassy personnel, tourism bureau representatives, and business inspection delegations, earning praise for his exceptional service.

His current greatest passion lies in golf, with a goal to play on every golf course in New Zealand.

With a keen interest in culture and history, he enjoys basketball, video games, and music in his leisure time. His favorite pastime is hiking to witness glaciers, followed by a cozy retreat to a cafe, where he can savor a warm coffee while admiring the picturesque snowfall.

Lucius, also known as Lu, was born in Hong Kong and has called New Zealand home for over 16 years. He pursued Hospitality Management studies in New Zealand and has a diverse professional background. With experience as a Night Shift Manager in hotels and later as an Account Manager for a renowned international corporation, Lucius brings a wealth of customer service and management skills to his role.

Outside of work, Lucius is an avid enthusiast of outdoor activities, particularly snowboarding, surfing, and various ball games. He enjoys engaging with people, sharing knowledge, and exchanging information. As your guide, Lucius is excited to accompany you on your travels and looks forward to creating memorable experiences together.
